Berry Trifle Cups

A delightful dessert featuring layers of creamy vanilla pudding, mixed berries, and tender sponge cake, perfect for summer gatherings.

  • 1 pound fresh mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 1 pound sponge cake, cut into cubes
  • Mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the vanilla pudding according to package instructions using milk. Allow it to cool until it thickens.
  2. In a large glass or trifle bowl, layer half of the sponge cake cubes at the bottom.
  3. Spoon half of the creamy vanilla pudding over the sponge cake, spreading it gently.
  4. Add a layer of whipped cream on top.
  5. Scatter a layer of mixed berries over the whipped cream.
  6. Repeat the layering process with the remaining ingredients.
  7. Finish with whipped cream and additional berries on top; garnish with mint leaves if desired.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

For best flavor, prepare a day in advance and allow to chill overnight. Avoid overmixing the pudding for a smooth texture.
