Bourbon Biscuit Tray Bake

A nostalgic dessert combining rich chocolate and creamy butter, perfect for gatherings or cozy nights.

Ingredients

  • 450g Bourbon biscuits
  • 150g Butter, melted
  • 120ml Condensed milk
  • 250g Milk chocolate
  • 277g Remaining condensed milk
  • 8 Bourbon biscuits for decoration

Instructions

  1. Grease and line an 8×8-inch tin with baking paper.
  2. Crush 450g of Bourbon biscuits into fine crumbs.
  3. Mix the biscuit crumbs with melted butter and 120ml of condensed milk.
  4. Firmly press the biscuit mixture into the bottom of your lined tin.
  5. Melt the milk chocolate with the remaining condensed milk over low heat.
  6. Pour the chocolate mixture over the biscuit base, spreading it evenly.
  7. Cut the reserved 8 Bourbon biscuits in half and arrange them on top.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours until set, then cut into slices.

Notes

Serve with vanilla ice cream for a delightful contrast. Can store leftovers in the fridge for up to a week or freeze for a month.
