  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro or parsley, chopped
  • Optional: toasted sesame seeds or chopped nuts (like pecans) for crunch

Instructions

  1. Prep the Sweet Potatoes: Wash and peel the sweet potatoes, then cut them into evenly sized cubes or wedges.
  2. Make the Sauce: In a mixing bowl, combine minced garlic, chili flakes, olive oil, soy sauce, brown sugar, and lime juice. Stir until well blended.
  3. Coat the Sweet Potatoes: Add sweet potato pieces to the bowl with the sauce and toss until evenly coated.
  4. Roast the Sweet Potatoes: Spread the coated sweet potatoes on a lined baking sheet and roast at 425°F (220°C) for about 25 minutes, flipping halfway.
