Chocolate Banana Nice Cream

A delightful, creamy dessert made from ripe bananas and cocoa powder, resembling soft-serve ice cream and perfect for a guilt-free treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 23 ripe bananas, peeled, sliced, and frozen
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup plant-based milk (almond or oat milk recommended)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: 1-2 tablespoons maple syrup or agave syrup (for added sweetness)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Bananas: Peel and slice the ripe bananas into thick pieces. Lay them on a baking sheet and freeze for at least two hours.
  2. Blend the Mixture: Transfer the frozen bananas to a high-powered blender and add the cocoa powder, plant-based milk, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste and Sweeten: Taste the mixture and add maple syrup or agave syrup if desired. Blend again briefly.
  4. Serve or Freeze: Enjoy immediately for a soft-serve texture, or transfer to an airtight container and freeze for an additional 1-2 hours for a firmer texture.

Notes

For the best flavor, use very ripe bananas. Add nut butter for enhanced creaminess, and top with fresh fruit or chocolate chips for a fun presentation.
