Chocolate Protein Baked Oats

A delicious and nutritious breakfast option combining rolled oats, protein powder, and chocolate for a satisfying start to your day.

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 scoop protein powder (flavor-neutral or chocolate)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup milk or milk alternative (almond, oat, etc.)
  • 1 egg or 1 flax egg (1 tablespoon ground flaxseed mixed with 3 tablespoons water)
  • 2 tablespoons sweetener of choice (honey, maple syrup, or stevia)
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (almonds or walnuts)
  • Fresh or frozen berries (as desired)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease or line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, cocoa powder, protein powder, and baking powder. Stir thoroughly.
  3. Stir in the milk, beaten egg or flax egg, and sweetener. Mix until smooth.
  4. Gently incorporate optional ingredients like chocolate chips, nuts, or fruits.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until set.
  6. Allow to cool slightly, then slice and serve warm with your favorite toppings.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding vanilla extract or topping with nut butter. This recipe is easily customizable based on dietary preferences.
