Delicious and easy air fryer chicken tenders that are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, perfect for dinner or as a snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb fresh chicken tenders
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Cooking spray or oil, for misting

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken tenders dry with paper towels.
  2. Set up three shallow bowls: one with seasoned flour (salt and pepper), one with beaten eggs, and one with a breadcrumb mixture (panko, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper).
  3. Coat each chicken tender in the seasoned flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  5. Arrange the coated chicken tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer and spray lightly with cooking spray. Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

For extra crunch, consider using crushed cornflakes or add cayenne pepper for some heat. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
