Crockpot Steak and Potatoes

A comforting dish featuring tender beef and earthy potatoes cooked slowly in a crockpot, perfect for cozy family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef steak (chuck or round)
  • 4 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Layer the foundation by placing diced potatoes and sliced onion in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Season the steak with salt, pepper, rosemary, and thyme.
  3. Nestle the seasoned steak on top of the potatoes and onions.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and minced garlic.
  5. Pour the mixture over the steak and vegetables in the crockpot.
  6. Cover and set the crockpot to cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Avoid overcrowding the crockpot for even cooking.
