Delicious Beef and Cheese Burrito

A comforting dish featuring ground beef, melted cheese, and fresh veggies wrapped in warm tortillas. Perfect for family dinners or casual gatherings.

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • Large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
  • 1 can black beans (15 oz, drained)
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers
  • Sour cream (optional)
  • Salsa (optional)
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients and chop bell peppers into small pieces.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for about 6-8 minutes until no longer pink.
  3. Add diced bell peppers and black beans; cook until heated through (4-5 minutes).
  4. Season with cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper; mix well to combine.
  5. Assemble burritos by placing about 1/3 cup filling in each tortilla, adding cheese, and rolling tightly.
  6. Cook burritos seam-side down in a skillet until golden brown on both sides (2-3 minutes each).

Notes

Customize with additional veggies or proteins as desired. Serve with sour cream and salsa for an elevated experience.
