Grilled Shrimp Skewers with Pineapple

A delightful combination of grilled shrimp and caramelized pineapple that brings tropical flavors to your table.

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix the olive oil, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the shrimp and pineapple chunks to the marinade and let soak for about 15-30 minutes.
  4. Thread the shrimp and pineapple onto the skewers, alternating between the two.
  5. Grill the skewers for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp become opaque and cooked through.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For enhanced flavor, consider marinating overnight. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
