Sheet Pan Beef and Broccoli

A delectable stir-fry dish featuring tender strips of beef and vibrant broccoli florets, all cooked to perfection in a single pan.

  • 1 lb beef flank steak, sliced thinly
  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the flank steak against the grain into thin strips.
  3. In a bowl, mix the beef with soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes; marinate for 15 minutes.
  4. Toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spread the seasoned broccoli on one side of a sheet pan and the marinated beef on the other.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the beef is browned and the broccoli is tender-crisp.

Notes

Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or carrots. For extra spice, increase red pepper flakes or drizzle sriracha when serving.
