Festive donuts with a chocolate spiderweb glaze, perfect for Halloween celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 200 g all-purpose flour
  • 140 g Greek yogurt
  • 120 g granulated sugar
  • 105 ml milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 4 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
  • 200 g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 70 g white chocolate, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 170°C (338°F) and grease two 6-cavity donut pans.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, Greek yogurt, and melted coconut oil until smooth.
  3. Stir in the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix until combined, being careful not to overmix.
  4. Transfer the batter to a piping bag and fill each donut pan cavity about 3/4 full.
  5. Bake for 13–15 minutes until the donuts are lightly golden. Check doneness with a toothpick.
  6. Cool in the pans for 15 minutes before removing.
  7. Melt dark and white chocolate separately in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between.
  8. Dip the tops of the donuts in dark chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
  9. Pipe concentric circles of white chocolate on top, then drag a toothpick from the center to the edge to create a spiderweb design.
  10. Let set until hardened before serving.

Notes

Consider adding candy spiders or edible glitter for an extra spooky effect.
