Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 4–6 small figs, sliced thin
  • 3 oz goat cheese, crumbled
  • 2–3 slices prosciutto, torn into small pieces
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
  • 3 cups arugula
  • Balsamic glaze, to drizzle

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Grease a 12-inch pizza pan with olive oil.
  3. Combine olive oil and minced garlic in a small dish.
  4. Press the pizza dough into the pan, creating small dimples on the surface.
  5. Brush the garlic oil mixture over the dough.
  6. Scatter crumbled goat cheese, torn prosciutto, and figs on the dough; sprinkle with black pepper.
  7. Bake for about 30 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and prosciutto is crispy.
  8. Top with fresh arugula and drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.

Notes

For a crisper crust, bake directly on the oven rack for the last few minutes. Use ripe figs for the best flavor.
